Capturing Tampa Bay Florida Sunset In Timelapse, Panorama, 360° At Apollo Beach Home Exactly 2 Years Ago Today - IMRAN®

Capturing Tampa Bay Florida Sunset In Timelapse, Panorama, 360° At Apollo Beach Home Exactly 2 Years Ago Today - IMRAN®

This is a video clip created from 300+ individual Nikon D300 which did not have that feature built-in back in 2007 when I got it as a great gift. This was the sunset exactly 2 years ago. Enjoy the music video of the unusual lighting and colors as clouds, rain, and sunset did their best to confuse the camera. You can see me working on capturing panorama and still shots with the Nikon D850 and 360°x360° with the Insta360 R2.

Stunning Sunset, Showers & Stars Sliding Seaside - IMRAN®

Stunning Sunset, Showers & Stars Sliding Seaside -  IMRAN®
Prepare to be spellbound! This 30-second time-lapse music video is more than just a sunset—it’s a breathtaking dance of light, clouds, and the cosmos.
Watch as swirling clouds paint the Tampa Bay sky while Florida’s signature sunset ignites the horizon in fiery hues. But don’t blink—rain shower silhouettes glide across the waters, drifting from Clearwater toward St. Petersburg, fleeting yet mesmerizing.
Look closer. The shift in wind, the falling humidity—the sky is in motion, whispering its secrets. Then comes the moon, first just a sliver. But as evening deepens, its full body emerges, revealing even its shadowed half. And then—Orion’s Belt, with hundreds of stars appearing to revolve around this little corner of the universe.
This isn’t just a video—it’s a moment suspended in time. Play it once, then again—you’ll always find something new. What did you notice?
Like, love, comment, and share the magic!

Setting Fire To The Rain - IMRAN™

Setting Fire To The Rain - IMRAN™
There were weather systems on the flight from Long Island, New York, to Tampa Bay, Florida, tonight. Instead of flying south along the eastern seaboard of the United States with views of the Atlantic Ocean coastline, we had to detour around a few areas. Flying into the sun heading out to the Gulf of Mexico, right past sunset over Carter’s Lake in Georgia, south of Chattanooga, Tennessee, the sunlight seemed to set the clouds on fire above — with cool darkness falling below this evening.

Hurricane At Lowest Tide, Not Terrible Wind, Still Overfills Tampa Bay Apollo Beach Florida - IMRAN™

I’ve been blessed to sit through several major hurricanes at my blessed home on Tampa Bay, Florida for the last dozen years. Post neck surgery, and with two large German Shepherds, it would have been impractical to evacuate anyway as this latest one hit the state. Kennedy & K2 are curious about what’s going on. You’ve seen videos of them jumping off this empty lot on to the sand. Right now, even at lowest tide time, and without any terrible wind, the water is easily coming on to the lot. My home is taking a hit of a different kind that I’ll post later.

Cool Saturday Night Feverish Tampa Bay Waters After Hot Windy Day - IMRAN™

Cool Saturday Night Fever(ish) Tampa Bay Waters After Hot Windy Day - IMRAN™
Even though streaming platforms may not do it justice, this livestream is actually from my super awesome Nikon D850 camera, a gift of a beloved one for my birthday 2 years ago. Since the iPhone 13 Pro Max has such an awesome camera, and it is with me all the time, sometimes I do not get to use this Nikon (or even the now 15 years old D300) as much I would like. Today, as I saw a deep orange color form over the moody sky I decided to do this livestream with the Nikon D850 and it's 4K video. But for file size reasons I only recorded it at regular HD & H.264 compression. The wind-noise reduction is better on this https://youtu.be/MO_wtHQAiUs .
It was a hot Saturday and the 90F felt hotter than usual a few hours ago. Now a strong wind, which makes it hard to be heard on camera, makes the temperature more pleasant but definitely not great for audio commentary. In either case, enjoy a spectacular Tampa Bay, Florida, boating sunset livestream with my German Shepherd Dogs, Kennedy and K2, at the dock of my blessed home this wonderful Saturday. Watch for the full moon too in the night sky!
Missing the return of loved ones into my waiting arms in this corner of paradise soon.

Cold White Hot Cloud Attack Tampa Bay Florida - IMRAN™ (Timelapse Music Video)

Cold White Hot Cloud Attack (Tampa Bay Florida) - IMRAN™

(Timelapse Music Video. Play with sound, enjoy more on larger screens)

An almost icy-cold but white-hot looking series of mushroom clouds rose from the waters of Tampa Bay attacking the perfectly blue sky today. This is the timelapse video I captured with no filter and no editing of any kind to the images. The movement of the clouds, first boiling up into the sky, and then flattening to march towards land at Apollo Beach, was so dramatic I was inspired to compose a short music tune. I titled it "Cloud Attack" just to go with the video. It may be something I build on to make a track for my next music album. What do you think?

Winds (Of) Change (On) Tampa Bay Florida - IMRAN™ (Timelapse Music Video)

Winds (Of) Change (On) Tampa Bay Florida - IMRAN™
(Timelapse Music Video)
Yes, wordplay intended. Winds of Change are all around Tampa Bay, Florida. And, yes, see the winds change ON Tampa Bay, and see how the winds change Tampa Bay waters' colors, textures, waves, and moods.
This was supposed to be a longer dramatic music video but a timer setting error meant it was only recorded as a 2.5-seconds timelapse. That is too short to post anywhere. So I slowed it down a little bit. That makes it 7-8 seconds so a little less shockingly twister-like as the original short recording is.
But you can see the drama. You can literally see the invisible wind visibly change right in front of your eyes. Watch the clouds initially swirl and twist perpendicular to the usual shape of twisters. See how they stretch along the East-West line but travel south to north.
But then, within seconds even in real-time, a massive shift in wind occurs and the clouds head towards the house and head east. Watch again just to see how the palm trees indicate the brute force of the shift. Dramatic nature!

Florida Dreaming Florida Winter's Day Dog Walking Tampa Bay Florida (Liv...

Florida Dreaming Florida Winter's Day Dog Walking Tampa Bay Florida (Livestream) - IMRAN™ This work week it seems like the pace of everything picked up instantly from Monday. The first week of the new year was slightly slower paced than expected, as people returned from vacation and holidays. But this was also the first start of a year with an ongoing pandemic, and a failed insurrection at the US Capitol adding to the national stress. Things on the work front did suddenly jump into high gear on Monday. So it was the chance to take the dogs out for a walk and come back walking along the boating channel on Tampa Bay today that I took. It is cold and grey. I almost decided to walk back from the marina beach to the house on the street but decided that "getting my feet wet" and "being knee-deep in it" were valid phrases to live out literally today. Kennedy and K2 enjoyed the frolicking. Kennedy loves barking at the waves when the foam or white caps make him think he is being teased by dolphins as he sees them do when we are on the dock at home. Come along for a walk. But be careful. It is a bit cold. © 2021 IMRAN™ #IMRAN #TampaBay #Florida #ApolloBeach #SymphonyIsles #GermanShepherdDogs #GSD #livestream #beach #boating #nature #winter #weather

Storm Before The Storm - IMRAN™

Storm Before The Storm - IMRAN™
It is ironic, and purely coincidental, that I am posting this video of a storm passing through Tampa Bay on April 20, 2020, today on August 23, 2020, when not one but two hurricanes are going to hit the Gulf of Mexico. It is just the timing of my catching up to pending posts and stories of K2's new life with me.
It is actually the saved video of a FaceBook livestream I had done from the dock. There was a storm raging and I had gone for a walk with Kennedy and the puppy K2. On returning home, I took them both to the dock. I captured this video of the rolling waves, and of Kennedy barking at the waves thinking there were dolphins inside them.
This was definitely not a jet-skiing day with 2 dogs on the vessel with me. :-) I had kept K2 to the side to avoid him accidentally getting stepped on or falling in the water. Soon after this video, I had to leave for 2 days due to an emergency. Hence, this was the storm before the storm. More on that story later.

Relax In 4 Minutes! Enjoy Setting Sun On Tampa Bay Florida At My Home & ...

Moody on Monday? Wishing weekend was longer? Sensing stress? Take 4 minutes to stop what you're doing, and come sit by my swimming pool at my Apollo Beach, Florida, home.
Watch a stunning golden sunset form over Tampa Bay, while a relaxing tune 'Lovers Seeking Moonlight' ( https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/ntrance-to-tunnel-of-love/id1090633937# ) soothes your jangled nerves, and relaxes your soul.
Watch the speed at which the wind carries the clouds. This is not a timelapse. It is the actual speed the wind was carrying them. That is why I left the sound of the wind in the video a little bit. Watch the pelicans fly by you, and ospreys hover above you.
Enjoy and buy some music from my CD, "nTrance To Tunnel Of Love". Check it out at https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/ntrance-to-tunnel-of-love/id1090633937 . I give 100% of the proceeds to charity.
Let me know how you feel. And share with your friends who could use some R&R regardless of where they are stuck!

Blue Sky, Red Dusk & White Lightning All Together Tampa Bay Florida - IMRAN™

I do not recall what device I had in my hands when I shot this fairly low resolution video with lots of wind and thunder & lightning about on one side, while a blue sky with golden red sunset and magical dusk were happening on the other side of Tampa Bay. Florida's weather is always magical in these kinds of scenes.
I was out on the dock of my blessed home overlooking an area perfect for boating, sailing and anything beachside.
My primary MacBook Pro with my music storage is in the middle of huge project so I had to use the only music clip I had on this laptop. I had composed "Sunset Flight Of The Bumblebee" specifically for a Long Island New York sunset video live streamed by my drone. But I just used the start of the clip to replace the fluttering noise of the wind in the original video of this scene.

Pelican Glides Past Across Stunning Flats At Tampa Bay - IMRAN™

It is another windy day though much less so than the last two days. Walking by the bay windows I saw this pelican come into view. I managed to fire up the iPhone 7 to get this short clip of the bird and the magnificent day.

From (Frozen) Sea To (Shining) Sea - IMRAN™

It is always an incredible sight when huge bodies of water like the Great South Bay on Long Island, New York, freeze over after several days of frigid winter weather.

The sandy beach at my home in New York then turns into a stunning spectacle of frozen snow dunes, and toffee like layers of cracked ice sheets, glittering in the fiery glow of the falling sun.

With new snowy weather approaching in clouds heavy with moisture doing their best to cover the scene, even the overexposed sky’s white colors look like an inverted snow mountain in the heavens.

The amazing sight is to see the brilliant colors of the sun reflected on the ice as if they were reflecting on still water.

Stunning Final Weekend, Farewell Summer Of 2011 - IMRAN™

The final weekend of Summer 2011 came to a stunning end, and shades of blue filled the water and the sky. Shades one was more used to seeing in Florida and Colorado. As the Summer of 2011 passed into the pages and cells of memory.... the chilly winds of Fall started blowing kisses, arriving on my shore, before the selfish lover of Winter starts demanding long dark nights.... while dreams of new Spring Loves, and the passionate embraces of Summer of '12, filled my heart, mind, body and soul.

The View (aka The RiverView), in Oakdale, at the the Great South Bay, Long Island, NY, is one of my favorite Sunday brunch places, to come via boat, car or motorcycle.

This final stunning weekend of Summer 2011 was one for the ages. It was a bit windy, but the incredible blue sky colors were shining through even in this unedited Apple iPhone cell phone video clip.

Hope to see you as Summer 2012 arrives, one day, soon.

Frozen Stick(y) (R)ice

I have to admit, except for occasionally liking Pakistani rice-based desserts called Kheer or Firni, usually served at weddings (with almonds or pistachios garnish), or at street corner carts there, I am not a big fan of rice or rice pudding. So, I don't even know much about Frozen Sticky Rice as a food item.

But, back in early 2004, when I was driving, at the height of winter, from my NY home to my nearly tropical oceanfront 37th floor, Singer Island, Florida, condo, I literally pulled over to the side of the road when I saw this scene.

Somewhere between New York and Washington, DC, this frozen lake with dead tree stumps sticking out of it, were glistening in the nippy winter air. At that time my 2MP Minolta Dimage X was pretty cutting edge.

Though Minolta is now defunct (and their camera business bought by Sony), that camera had one of the most intricate prism and lens systems built-in, enabling actual physical rather than digital zooming, but with no protruding lens. The entire mechanism was inside the camera body and the prism turned light so the zooming lens was moving vertically inside the camera body. Somehow, that camera (and an iPod 30GB of that time) were either lost on a Southwest flight, or are sitting in some old pants pockets somewhere in my home and I can't find them since!

In any case, though not comparable to the typical 6-13 MP images I post, this delectable rice-colored image seemed like quite a lovely trip down frozen memories lane.

Frozen Stick(y) (R)ice seemed a perfect title for this photograph taken along either I-95 or the maybe the Parkway. (Map location shown is a wild guess).
