Boating, yachting, sailing, and even flying over and driving to beautiful yachting locations is one of my passions.
This photo was taken with an old cell phone, on a stunning day at Port Jefferson Harbor, in Long Island, on the North Shore, one of many beautiful New York boating areas.
I have been blessed to have owned and operated boats from 23 to 40 feet. Much that I would love to afford a 70-100 feet long yacht, I prefer things I can operate alone without needing a crew.
However, I loved this moment as the yacht’s gleaming BOW was TIEd by dark dock lines on a stunning blue day.

I'll Cross That Bridge When I Get To It - IMRAN™
I was out to dinner enjoying Fort Myers Beach, Florida. This was during a one month long drive I took exploring every single mile of Florida coastline in 2012, looking for a place to get a second home.
It was my first trip to this area, and I enjoyed the stay, though I did buy my home somewhere else.
This cell phone handheld photo was stitched with a 99 cents app, and clearned up in Photoshop.

Be Happy The Choice Is Yours - IMRAN™
Happiness Is A Choice.
If you are an inherently happy person, you will have a happy life, regardless of what imperfections, challenges, and even pains & sorrows come your way.
For, in time, even the times of tragedies will turn into bittersweet memories.
How you choose to live your life in the time that remains is all that will remain, to enjoy while you're alive, and how you will be remembered when you are gone.
Choose to be Happy and all Happiness will come your way.

From (Frozen) Sea To (Shining) Sea - IMRAN™
It is always an incredible sight when huge bodies of water like the Great South Bay on Long Island, New York, freeze over after several days of frigid winter weather.
The sandy beach at my home in New York then turns into a stunning spectacle of frozen snow dunes, and toffee like layers of cracked ice sheets, glittering in the fiery glow of the falling sun.
With new snowy weather approaching in clouds heavy with moisture doing their best to cover the scene, even the overexposed sky’s white colors look like an inverted snow mountain in the heavens.
The amazing sight is to see the brilliant colors of the sun reflected on the ice as if they were reflecting on still water.
The golden reeds to the right and the brown but still living pine trees to the left frame this 180 degree handheld Windows Phone Lumia 1020 panorama.

Snow Falling On (Out)Siders - IMRAN™
Snow Falling On (Out)Siders.
Much that I would love to be in Florida when New York is facing blizzards, I also choose to savor whatever life offers.
Whether a twist of fate or a turn of luck, a change of seasons or changes in people.
I choose to believe in celebrating the unique experiences, good and bad, of my life, knowing, just like no two snowflakes falling on me right now are alike, no one else could have lived my life, and savored it the way God created it uniquely, exclusively for me, if I did not take the good with the bad.
That is why I do not forever dwell on the storms I faced, but cherish surviving them stronger than before.
I will not cry for something lost or tossed aside, but I will celebrate something new found in something old and abandoned.
I will, God willing, always choose, and believe, that my wildest dreams are not even a fraction of what God will bless me with, no matter what rain, or hail, or sleet, or snow falls on my path of life.
The journey is the reward, no matter what final destination God blesses me to get to.
So, hold my hand, and know, no matter how slippery, dark, dangerous and twisted the path, every step will be an adventure to savor, and every mile will be a destination to celebrate along the way…
Come with me…

Shocking Pink & Gold In Sunlight - IMRAN™
I was testing the photo capabilities of my Microsoft Windows Phone Lumia 1020 and it’s 41MP camera at home last summer.
I took a photo of this brilliant flower and then cropped the picture to about half the size.
Even then it is amazing what level of detail the Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone camera can capture.
