Dallas Museum of Modern Art – Eventful May 2012 Visit — IMRAN®  

In May 2012, I was in Apollo Beach, Florida, making arrangements to buy what would become my fantasy home for the next fourteen years. In the middle of that life chapter, Microsoft invited me to Dallas to interview for an incredible role.

I flew from Florida to Texas, went through a series of tough but amazing interviews, and was offered the position before I even left the parking lot in Las Colinas. That moment began what would become a dozen‑year journey — with the final offer arriving on my birthday, May 23, 2012.

Just a few days earlier, on May 19, I was still in Dallas, and my childhood friend Mohsin took time to show me around the city. This photo is one of the memories from that day, marking the start of a new chapter I could never have predicted.
