Blurry Image But Sharp Memories - IMRAN®
As my DJI Phantom 4 settled from a winter's‑day flight on February 25, 2023, it somehow captured this blurry frame. K2 had just turned three a week earlier — the same week marking four years since Kennedy arrived at his forever home.
A year later, this moment would become even more poignant. Kennedy — on the left, eyes fixed on the descending drone — would have to say goodbye because of an inoperable tumor.
The image may be soft, but the memories remain crystal clear. Kennedy, the Best Dog Ever, taught Best Puppy Ever K2 so much… lessons K2 still carries forward every single day.
I also have to say I'm highly unimpressed by the expensive, CPU‑intensive Topaz Labs Photo app — which I own and used both directly and through Photoshop's Partner Filters. I invested in their suite hoping it would help salvage images from older, primitive digital cameras, but it has consistently fallen short.
In this case, it did absolutely nothing to improve focus on my part of the image; in fact, it made it much worse, as you can see in the pixelation of my hand and the drone controller.
