I'm sure it would've been far nicer to be on THE island of Jamaica (where I still haven't been!) than at THIS (Long) Island's Jamaica railroad station on a brutally cold, windy day last week. And with temperatures plunging to –14°C / 7°F since then, commuting this week must've been even worse for everyone braving those platforms.
