Tampa Bay Times’ news summary had this doubly unfortunate news blurb today, December 27, 2023. “Homicide in Largo: Pinellas deputies have arrested two teenage brothers after shooting and killing their sister on Christmas Eve.” In one sentence, the writer or editor managed to murder grammar, and to accuse the police of murder too. 😳 The real news was that two (pathetic juvenile armed) brothers had a fight about Christmas gifts. They had guns (essential Christmas ornaments in that family apparently). They had a shootout after one brother shot & killed their own sister (a mother of two kids) at gramma’s house. And… later… the police arrested the brothers. Then the writer murdered grammar.
