However, that does not apply to what you buy in Las Vegas. In addition to all the things that the city is famous for, the hotels and casinos find many other ways to take your money. Key among those, retail therapy and wallet-draining shopping are also on tap. The magnificent architecture, and always changing decor, ensure that even repeat visits do not become boring. Generally though, it is not a city that I have much interest in. Well, other than the eating opportunities. That is because everything that it is most popular for, from gambling to drinking to other “extracurricular” activities, none of those are in my areas of interest or participation. There comes a stage when I’ve already seen all the Cirque du Soleil shows that are in town. I’ve also got a few others. But beyond having too many great dinners, walking and people watching do provide some entertainment.
